Separate facts from assumptions.
For example, an available API does not by itself establish that an integration is suitable. Documentation, access and the required behaviour need to be considered together.
About Vey
Vey designs and develops apps, websites and business systems. Established in 2015, our company is based in Melbourne. Here is the background behind the name and the principles we bring to product decisions.
VEY Pty Ltd was established in 2015. Melbourne is our business base, with online meetings and appointment-based in-person conversations available.

Vey takes its initials from Vision, Excellence and You. For us, that means starting with your goals, taking care with the details of design and development, and keeping business needs and everyday use at the centre of the work.
We usually meet online, using Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. In-person meetings in Melbourne can also be arranged by appointment, including at your premises.
A useful interface depends on the information and business rules behind it. Our whole-product perspective means asking how a design decision affects the people using the product, the systems it connects to and the work of maintaining it.
Explore our servicesA product decision often involves a trade-off. We explain the options in relation to your priorities, including what is known and what still needs investigation.
For example, an available API does not by itself establish that an integration is suitable. Documentation, access and the required behaviour need to be considered together.
A familiar screen or technology is useful when it supports the work people need to do. We consider the relevant alternatives and explain the effect on use and development.
Content editing, access, dependencies and future changes affect the day-to-day life of a product. These questions deserve a place in design and technical decisions.
We keep our client projects private. This website uses independently created product concepts to illustrate user experiences and the systems that support them. The concepts are not client case studies or evidence of delivered project results.
If your project involves sensitive information, start with a brief overview. We can discuss confidentiality arrangements before you share sensitive project details.
